1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Unlike traditional web services, WordCounter Real operates as a client-side single page application (SPA). We explicitly do not collect, log, transmit, intercept, or share:
- The text, articles, code, or essays typed or pasted into the editor.
- Files uploaded for analysis (such as PDF, DOCX, DOC, or TXT files, which are decoded entirely within browser WebAssembly and memory).
- Keystrokes, typing speed biometric patterns, or clipboard contents.
- Personal identifying information (PII) like real names, residential addresses, or phone numbers.
2. Local Device Storage (Browser Storage)
To enhance your writing workflow, the application utilizes your browser's native localStorage mechanism. This data remains 100% on your device:

3. Voice Dictation & Web Speech API
When you activate the speech-to-text dictation feature, your browser uses its native SpeechRecognition interface.
Voice processing is governed by your individual browser provider (such as Google Chrome or Apple Safari). WordCounter Real does not capture, record, or save your audio files or voice streams.
4. Third-Party Assets & Hosting Infrastructure
To maintain high availability and fast global CDN asset delivery:
- Typography: We load Google Fonts to offer custom handwriting and serif styles.
- CDN Workers: PDF.js rendering workers are loaded over secure CDN links.
- Standard Server Logs: Web server connection logs (IP addresses, user agents) may be retained temporarily by web hosting infrastructure solely for DDoS mitigation.

Because WordCounter Real processes all text locally on your device and does not build personal behavioral user dossiers:
